Hm... I dunno if it'd be quicker. If the smoke doesn't asphyxiate you, I'd imagine it'd be a rather long and painful way to die. But maybe you're right.

I'd want to be buried alive, like in a coffin, 'cause the other options are not totally instantaneous. I'd rather have a really really fast death, or a slow and drawn out one (without pain XD).

If I KNEW I was going to be buried alive, I would spend my last moments just thinking. But if it's a sudden, "wake up in a coffin hours later" thing, I'd be screwed. T_T

I would have to say drowning, if the water's warm.

I think freezing to death would probably be better, because after a while, you're just not lucid enough to really care.
