Nail in the Coffin

So, I took today off. Kinda.

Actually, I went to work. Got surrounded by people that had heard I'd put in my notice to quit and wanted hugs and there were tears and such. And then promptly lost it. I was sobbing.

So my boss sent me home.

I'm not entirely sure why this is hitting me so hard. It's probably more the unsettled feeling of not knowing if I'll be employed in a month than anything...

Kinda the nail in the coffin of my employment at the moment.

Anyways. Picture.

I was trying to nail some boards together to build a new bed for my dog.

...I suck at nailing boards together. Look at my resulting nails.

This, of course, brought on more tears.
