Still debating over which picture to give my mom. Flowers or Faeries...
I think I might do a quick print of both of them and let her choose.  'Cause I sure can't.Originally drew this with the black background, no intention of keeping it. But... I kind of like it, actually. Thus, I kept it and just made a new version with the lighter background. Flowers are hard to draw... and I finally learned how to use the color saturation tool in PainterX. VERY nice tool to have. *pleased* My picture had was a horrible collection of colors. Still might be, but it's TONS better than it was. Leaves I do not like to draw. I do not like them, Sam I am. The flowers - especially the carnations - I like.  I'm especially pleased with the carnations (the big orange one and the smaller reddish ones)The odd marks around the outside of the flowers in the lighter version don't show up on the .RIF version - only when I convert it to .JPEG. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
